Mary Ann Gaffney died at Bethel Assisted Living, Croton-on-Hudson, NY on Saturday , August 30, 2014 at the age of 85. She was the youngest of five children born to Harry and Alma Gaffney in New York City on May 29, 1929. She entered the convent of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, NY in 1947.
