Friday was a busy day for Croton's all-volunteer Fire Department, which answered five calls for service in just eight hours. At 3 p.m., firefighters were dispatched with Croton-on-Hudson Emergency Medical Services to Cleveland and Truesdale drives for a child struck by a vehicle.
