Sally R. Dow, 80, Retired Children's Librarian In Ossining.

Sally R. Dow, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson for more than 50 years, died Thursday, Jan. 28. She was 80. She was a graduate of the Walnut Hill School, Connecticut College and Simmons College, where she received her master's degree in library science. She worked as a librarian at Harvard University and the New York Public Library before moving to Croton with her husband, Bryden M. Dow, in 1963.

Robert D. "Bob" Swanson of Croton-On-Hudson, died on Friday, March 13, at the New York State Veterans Home in Montrose. He was 80. Swanson served in the U.S. Army as a counter-intelligence specialist in Germany in the 1950's.
