Students at Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School in Croton-on-Hudson enjoyed at least one hour of uninstructed play time, in addition to recess, on Feb. 3 as part of Global School Play Day, joining more than 177,000 other students from around the world. The day was an entirely unplugged one.
