HUDSON, N.Y. The assistant principal at Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School has been named 2015 New York State Assistant Principal of the Year. Michael Plotkin, who has been an assistant principal at the Croton-on-Hudson school since 2007, was selected for the honor by representatives of the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the School Administrators Association of New York State, according to a press release.
